We were watching ET last night with our kiddos. Oh M G so 80's, but cute. I actually think it was filmed in Calabasas – where I lived during high school.
Dakota, age 4, was snuggling with me during the movie and he glanced at my socks and said, "Mommy! You have M&M socks."
I smiled and nodded and tried to hear the movie.
Dakota persisted. "Mommy, where did you get those M&M socks?"
Again, I sorta blew him off because I was trying to follow the oh so complicated storyline of ET ("At the store honey.")
Now this morning as I donned my socks before jumping on cardio to write, I noticed that my socks are made by Wilson and have pink W's on them. But upside down--as Dakota was viewing them – indeed, they say M&M.
It's all about focus – and perspective. And my kids continue to be my biggest teachers.
