I received this from a reader:
" Taylor, check this out.
My son had an away hockey tournament over the weekend. The kids had a blast. Hotel -- swim with the team -- knee hockey in the hall way.
I enjoyed the other hockey parents also. Nice people.
The kids won their first3 games and were in the championship game. They were playing a team they beat the day before 14-5.
When the game starte we noticed some kids that were not on the other team the day before. The other team snuck some older kids in who should not have been playing.
Our kids lost 10-9 -- they played their little hearts out. Can you imagine adults being so unscrupulous as to cheat in youth hockey?
While driving homemy little guy was sad about the loss. I told him, "Your team won in the game of life". You tried your best and did your best. " Thats all you can do, and let the universe deal with the rest!"
